About the Tour

The tour takes place in Praia do Forte and its surroundings, lasting two days and one night. It has an essentially ecotouristic character, combining nature activities with leisure moments.


Day 01: Salvador / Praia do Forte (85 km)

In the morning, departure from Salvador (hotel or airport) to Praia do Forte, located on the North Coast of Bahia, a region with natural reserves, lakes, and palm-fringed beaches. Upon arrival, visit the ruins of Castelo Garcia D’Ávila, a house built on elevated ground that was once one of Brazil’s largest private estates. Then continue to the village of Praia do Forte and visit Projeto Tamar, a sea turtle conservation center. Check-in at the pousada and lunch featuring fish and seafood. In the afternoon, enjoy a canoe ride on Lagoa de Timeantube, experiencing aquatic life, birds, and tropical vegetation. Free time in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own and overnight at the pousada.


Day 02: Praia do Forte / Salvador (85 km)

In the morning, horseback riding (1.5 hours) along deserted beaches (maximum 10 people). Lunch in Praia do Forte. In the afternoon, another horseback tour is available for a new group. Late afternoon return directly to Salvador (hotel or airport).


Notes


Lagoa de Timeantube – Tour duration: 1.5 hours, maximum 10 people per departure. For groups larger than 10, the activity will be divided into two groups, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. With fewer than 10 participants, passengers from other groups may join.
