About the Tour
This tour offers an ecological view of one of the country’s most beautiful coastlines, with 12 km of beaches surrounded by coconut groves and natural pools.
Guided tour, departing in the morning from your hotel in Salvador to Praia do Forte (85 km), along the “Coconut Highway,” named after the vast coconut plantations in the region. On the way, a stop at Guarajuba Beach for a swim, then continuing to the fishing village of Praia do Forte. Visit to the Tamar Project, a sea turtle preservation center that brought an ecological character to the village. The village is the perfect spot for swimming in the natural pools. Located within an APA – Environmental Protection Area – which includes the Sapiranga Reserve, a transition zone between the region’s different ecosystems. Lunch with fish and seafood. Free time to explore the village and enjoy the beaches. Return to Salvador in the late afternoon.
