About the Tour
The circuit focuses on Lençóis and its surroundings, the heart of the Chapada, a place that is both historical and natural. Traveling by regular bus allows for a more affordable package.
Day 1 – Salvador/Lençóis/Rio Serrano/Salão de Areia (Hike)/Lençóis (425 km):
In the morning, transfer, second option: by private car or to Salvador bus station, then travel by regular bus (6 hours). Arrival in Lençóis and transfer to the guesthouse. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, guided visit to the surroundings of the city, including Rio Serrano with its natural pools, Primavera and Cachoeirinha waterfalls, and Poço Haleey. Continuation to Salão de Areia, a rock cavity where colored sand is extracted for making small decorative bottles. Late afternoon return to the guesthouse. Dinner on your own.
Day 2 – Lençóis/Poço do Diabo/Caves/Morro do Pai Inácio/Lençóis (172 km):
In the morning, visit Poço do Diabo, a huge natural pool fed by the waterfalls of Rio Mucugezinho, with the possibility to swim. Continue along the road to Gruta da Lapa Doce, famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Visit Gruta da Pratinha, bathed by the crystal-clear waters of an underground river. Picnic on site. Late afternoon climb to Morro do Pai Inácio, an impressive rock formation offering magnificent panoramic views of Chapada Diamantina. Return to Lençóis afterward. Dinner on your own.
Day 3 – Lençóis (425 km):
Morning free in Lençóis. Early afternoon transfer, second option: by private car or to Lençóis bus station, and return to Salvador. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel or directly to the airport.
