Capital of celebration, dance, and music, Salvador is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Afro-Bahian rhythms.

About the Tour
Departure from the hotel in the early evening for a folklore show with dinner. The show begins with the presentation of the Orixás, the main deities of Candomblé. Through dances and chants, participants learn about the Yoruba gods and their colorful costumes. The performance continues with fishermen’s songs and Maculelê, a warrior dance from Africa.
Most of the show is dedicated to Capoeira, a fight introduced to Brazil by African slaves as a form of self-defense. Capoeira is accompanied by the berimbau, a single-string instrument with a unique sound.
Return to the hotel.
